The ins and outs of SEO – how to have a high-ranking website

There are two important things to know about a high-ranking website once you decide to take your website to the next level.  First, you can pay to have your site rank high.  Known as pay-per-click, you can actually pay a company to have a featured website and you pay based on the number of clicks that you receive.  This is often costly, but can be an effective and quick way to see results fast.  The other option is to develop a high-ranking website naturally.  This is done through SEO or Search Engine Optimization.  Search Engines such as Google and Bing rank sites based on key-word relevancy.  When a consumer enters a search term, the search engine will determine what sites to show that are the most relevant.
